Project Description
This project was hard bid in May 2007. The original scope of work included modifications and repairs at various well and steel tank sites including steel tank repairs, new coatings, piping, erosion control measures, electrical, instrumentation and controls. The project initially involved work at six separate sites and the scope of work has ranged from rock slope stabilization, grading, erosion control and drainage improvements, structural steel ladder, hatch and safety modifications, painting and coating removal and replacement, rehabilitation and new construction of steel tanks, mechanical piping systems, electrical and instrumentation upgrades. All but one of the sites was in service at the time of construction and shutdowns had to be closely scheduled with the demands required by the City of Phoenix Water Services Department.
