Project Description
The Freeport McMoRan Bagdad mine required a pump station to be built as a primary water supply for solution leaching process which is used to extract copper from the ore. The scope of work included; Reinforced concrete pads with steel embeds, a 32” pipe header, pipe supports, an electrical grounding system, install owner supplied four 800 HP pumps & motors, industrial control building, switch gear, 3750 KVA & 225 KVA transformer, and PLC.
