Currier Construction, in partnership with Crawford and Associates of Blythe, CA., provides design/build options or turn-key solutions for open water conveyance systems. Our team constructs cost effective trencher profiled slipform concrete canals. Many standard profiles are available as well as custom profiles to suite our customer needs. A custom Trencher “Bertha” was built to provide canals with a 6 foot bottom and an 8 ½ foot depth, enabling us to do a range of 5 CFS thru 2000 CFS canal configurations. Concrete check structures, weir measuring structures, turn-out structures combined with slide gate or stop log assemblies prove to be effective and cost conscious solutions for conveyance of water. Our customers include water utility groups as well as irrigation districts and farmers.
